The state run Norwegian map publisher. All of Norway is covered by detailed topographical maps in scale 1:50.000, roadmaps in 1:250.000 (21 sheets) or 1:400.000 (4 sheets) and a roadatlas in 1:300.000. Furthermore, a series of hiking maps is published in different scales (1:50.000 - 1:100.000) over the most popular places in Norway. These maps shows hikingroutes, skiing routes, huts and shelters, and many have practical information on the reverse side. To some areas it is possible to have packs of maps with 6-8 maps in scale 1:50.000. The maps have UTM net. All of Norway is available on a CD-ROM "Opplev Norge".
The road maps in the scale 1:400.000 are ideal for the independent traveller who would like to experience a bit more of Norway than just Oslo and Bergen.
The practical division of the country, and the large number of minor towns which are marked at the maps, make the maps practical, both if you just need one of the sheets, to get an overview of the area you stay in, or if you need the whole series when you have a little more time to spend in Norway, and would like to experience a bit of every region.
Along with the maps come a huge number of city maps of large and mediumsized towns covered by the road map.
