Skaaneleden.
Skaaneleden consists of app. 900 km of hiking routes, and is covered by 6 maps:
Kust till Kustleden 1, part 1 starts in Vittsjö and ends in Sölveborg
Kust till Kustleden 1, part 2 starts in Vittsjö and ends in Ängelholm (Hallandsåsen)
Nord till Sydleden 2, part 1 starts in Vittsjö and ends south of Hörby
Nord till Sydleden 2, part 2 starts in Hörby and ends in Ystad (via Malmö)
Ås till Åsleden part 3, starts in Åstorp and ends in Agusa (Söderåsen)
…sterlenleden del 4, starts in Ystad and ends in Snogeholm.
The maps are in the scale 1:50.000 and parted in stages which are 10-20 km. Each stage is clearly marked, with information about lay-bys. The maps also contain a short description af the things passed in every stage.
Skaaneleden is marked with orange rings around trees or poles in the areas. In the places where the routes change their direction, they are marked with arrows to follow.
It takes no expensive equipment to hike at Skaaneleden. With a pair of good hiking boots and some water resistant clothing, a vacuum jug, and some food you have all possibilities for a great experience in the nature.
Allemannsrätt.
In Sweden everybody has the right to experience the nature, this is known as the allemannsrätt. You can walk around in the forest, fields and meadows, but it is important to take the good of the nature into consideration. Each map in the series contain information on the official lines of conduct in the specific area they cover.
